BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - A St. Peter's teenager lost his life today (Feb. 9) following a domestic dispute with his girlfriend.
Dead is 19-year-old Kevon Gordon of Parray’s Village.
According to a police press release issued today, at about 10:30 a.m. Gordon “was involved in a dispute with his girlfriend” during which he suffered stab wounds.
He reportedly was transported to the Joseph N. France General Hospital where he eventually lost the battle for his life.
The release informed that one suspect has been taken into police custody and is “assisting with investigations”. It identifies that suspect as Idalia Williams.
Additionally, the communique explains that the Commissioner of Police conveys condolences to the bereaved family and has advised that help be sought when domestic issues are being experienced.
“Commissioner C.G. Walwyn who visited Gordon's family at the hospital is asking all persons in the Federation to please seek help for domestic issues by contacting the various Social Services for assistance.”
