BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - POLICE have formally arrested and charged a 20-year-old female in connection to stabbing death which occurred at the start of the week in the St. Peter’s area.

A press release issued by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force today (Feb. 13) explained that on yesterday’s date, Idalia Williams of Parray’s Housing was charged with the offence of “manslaughter in relation to the stabbing death of Kevon Gordon”.

The young man - who is said to be from the Upper Monkey Hill area - lost his life on Sunday (Feb. 9) having been involved in what police describe as “dispute with his girlfriend”.

SKNVibes understands that Gordon was stabbed in the process and was rushed to the Joseph N. France General Hospital where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries.

A police communique which was issued after the incident, declared that Williams was a suspect in the case who was assisting the authorities with their investigations.

This publication is not clear as to whether or not Williams has made application for bail and if she has, whether it has been granted or denied.
