BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THE father of the young woman who was recently charged with manslaughter, was discovered dead in his Newtown home earlier today (Feb. 14).

SKNVibes understands that the deceased is a taxi driver nicknamed ‘Cap’, but who is legally known as Cecil Charles-Thomas.

Members of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force were summoned to the scene to conduct investigations into the find.

This publication received reports of a possible hanging but there is no information to support that claim. The deceased was reported discovered with no obvious signs of ill-intent.

He - according to information reaching this publication - is the father of Idalia Williams - 20 - who has been charged with the Sunday (Feb. 9) stabbing death of 19-year-old Kevon Gordon of St. Peter’s.

She was granted bail yesterday (Feb. 13) and SKNVibes understands that Charles-Thomas was seen at the court house around the time of his daughter’s bail hearing.

SKNVibes spoke with a fellow taxi driver who explained that he was schoolmates with the deceased and while plying their trade, he observed him as “a quiet person who kept to himself”.
