    JOINT OPERATION

     

    BASSETERRE St. Kitts, February 18th, 2014  --  The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, in its Proactive Approach to crime prevention and reduction, conducted and inter-departmental operation with the St. Kitts and Nevis Defence Force and Her Majesty's Customs and Excise Department on Sunday 16th February 2014, in Sandy Point.  This operation was intelligence led and surveillance driven. 
     
    A number of search warrants were executed on premises under surveillance, which lead to the arrest of four (4) persons and the seizure of an undisclosed amounts of cannabis and crack/cocaine from the month-long joint surveillance. 
     
    Commissioner CG Walwyn takes this opportunity to inform the general public that such operations will be conducted as the Force moves forward with its initiatives on maintaining safety and security for all residents and visitors to the Federation. Residents are asked to keep reporting suspicious activity to Crime Stoppers ar 1 800 8477 and remember you will remain anonymous.
