Cayon, St.Kitts , (Team UNITY Communications) - Dr the Honourable Timothy Harris, Leader of the historic Team Unity and the Honourable Eugene Hamilton were among a packed congregation of family, friends well-wishers, and Pastors giving thanks and honour to Eloise Isaac of Cayon on the occasion of her 100th birthday.
Many tributes flowed all consolidating a picture of a wonder woman who lived a life in service to family and community but most importantly in service to God. Mother Isaac was fit to be present and to respond to all the glowing tributes that poured in from Pastors, family, her Member of Parliament the Honourable Eugene Hamilton and many others.
Parliamentary Representative Hon. Eugene Hamilton said “I salute Mother Isaac; I salute her for being; the woman of Faith that she is; the tower of strength, the preacher of the undiluted word, the encourager, the councilor, the confidant, the supporter of the positive initiatives of all young people. And I salute her as one who is determined, dedicated and courageous.
I further salute her for her physical ability and I hope that it would not surprise anyone that she still walks to and from church each and every Sunday.”
Hamilton continued “As Momma Isaac celebrates her hundredth birthday I give God thanks that I am privileged to be a part of it all and a part of her life. I pray that God will bless and keep her in good health physically, spiritually, and emotionally so that she through her continued life’s example would be an inspiration to those who interact with her.
She is Green Valley’s most recent and blessed centurion. May her continued life and witness as a stalwart of peace, faith, justice, love and community leadership be an everlasting example to the people of this area, the entire Nation of St. Kitts and Nevis and to all else who have been blessed to have known her for these past hundred years. Happy Birthday My Dear-Our Dear Mother Isaac.”
