    ARRESTS

     

    BASSETERRE St. Kitts, February 26th, 2014  --  Omar Francis of Willet's, St. Paul Village was formally arrested and charged for the offence of Possession of Cannabis, which was committed on 21st February 2014 at Potential Bar.

    Kizzan Galloway of Newton Ground was formally arrested and charged for the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession With Intent To Supply To Another, which were committed on 23rd February 2014.

    Keturah Browne of New Road was formally arrested and charged for the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession With Intent To Supply To Another, which were committed on 23rd February 2014.

    COURT CONVICTIONS

    District "A" Magistrate's Court

    Dian Niles of Prickley Pear Alley was convicted for the offence of Insulting Language, and fined $500.00 which is to be paid in three (3) weeks or in default serve one (1) month imprisonment.

    TRAFFIC ACCIDENT

    On 21st February 2014, officers of Frigate Bay Police Station responded to a report made of a traffic accident occurred at Frigate Bay in the vicinity of Bobsy's Chiecken Outlet, which resulted in two (2) persons being transported to the hospital. 

    Initial investigation revealed  that the accident occurred in the vicinity of Bobsy's Chicken Outlet involving motor car P 9174 which is owned and was driven by Martin Thomas of Farm Housing Project, Sandy Point. Martin Thomas and the passenger in his vehicle were injured during the accident.  

    AUTOPSY RESULT
     
    On 23rd February 2014, an autopsy was performed on the body of late Carlyle Winford Hobson of Webbe's Ground. Gingerland  by Forensic Pathologist, Dr. Stephen Jones, who concluded that the death was caused by gunshot injury.  The deceased's remains were discovered on 21st February 2014 at Nevis Island Government Quarry.
