BREAKING NEWS: Two drown after vessel capsizes

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - TWO men lost their lives this afternoon (April 2) while they were reportedly performing a task out at sea, which had gone terribly wrong.

     

    The men - according to reports reaching this publication - were aboard a smaller vessel and were at sea attempting to lose the ropes which anchored one of the cruise vessels docked at Port Zante, to allow it to unberth. 

     

    Information surrounding the incident remains sketchy at this time but SKNVibes understands that the vessel carrying the two men capsized during the exercise.

     

    It is also suggested that a successful search was had for the men and while they were found, it was discovered that they did not survive the ordeal.

     

    Press and Public Relations Officer for the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force Inspector Lyndon David confirmed that two individuals are deceased as a result of the incident

     

    Investigations into the matter are ongoing and further information would be provided in a subsequent publication.
