Police Seeking Witnesses to Latest Homicide on St. Thomas

    February 22, 2009: Major Crime Detectives on St. Thomas are investigating the murder of a 35-year-old male that happened at about 10:15 p.m. Saturday, February 21. The victim has been identified by family members as Charles Ham, a resident of St. Thomas.

     

    According to Chief of Police Rodney F. Querrard Sr. Ham arrived at his Anna's Retreat home which is in the area of the Splash and Dash car wash and after he exited his car he was fatally shot by an unknown suspect or suspects.

     

    The Major Crime detectives are conducting interviews of persons in the residential area however no suspects have been identified so far. Police Commissioner James H. McCall is urging anyone with information to step forward. There is a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect, McCall said.
