Basseterre, April 29th 2014 - The upcoming long weekend will be a very busy and exciting one for Team UNITY. A packed slate of events are scheduled including a Whistle Stop, Home Grown Concert, Listening Tour Community forum and a UNITY Festival among other activities.
The historic political alliance will kick off it’s action packed weekend with a East Basseterre Team UNITY Listening Tour Community Townhall on Thursday May 1st at 7:30pm. The event is expected to provide a forum for residents of Constituency #1 East Basseterre and of the entire country to engage in helpful and meaningful dialogue with the leaders of Team UNITY . As well as provide an avenue for ideas , suggestions and solutions to be discussed.
On Friday the Parliamentary Representative for Const #3 Hon. Sam Condor will be officially opening his new Constituency Office at 6pm at Laguerite .
After the opening of the West Basseterre Office the team then heads to Molineux for a massive Home Grown Concert featuring the islands top performers and artistes including Nicha B, Hi-Light, Infamus and Nu-Vybes among others.
On Saturday there will be a grand Whistle-Stop beginning at 1pm in Molineux and heading East towards Cayon.
The Weekend of Activities climaxes on Monday with a UNITY Festival. The festival will take the form of an all day fun day at the PAM Headquarters with breakfast at 7pm . Followed by lunch at 12 noon then finally the afternoon Kids Fair and UNITY Music Festival starting at 2pm with performers Small Axe Band and others.
