BASSETERRE, ST.KITTS (Wednesday 14th May, 2014):- The St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party Candidate for Constituency Eight Dr. Terrance Drew has made a monetary contribution towards the much anticipated 2014 Green Valley Festival which he said is aimed at helping the organisers with its successful staging.
The upcoming festival, which is slated to take place from May 31st to June 9th in the Cayon community, has as its theme: ‘De Whole Community Join een..It’s Green Valley 2014’.
Speaking to a member of Dr. Drew’s Public Relations team, Chairperson of the Green Valley Festival Committee Jerome ‘Jebo’ Isaac expressed much appreciation for the contribution made towards the approaching festivity.
“I would like to say thanks, on behalf of myself and the Green Valley Festival Committee, to Dr. Drew for his contribution. I really appreciate it", he stated.
Isaac revealed that although plans and preparations are a bit “bumpy” at this time, overall he is optimistic that the festivity would be a good one.
He went on to say that he is looking forward to Dr. Drew’s continued support of other community events.
Isaac invites the public to patronise the Green Valley Festival.
“I would like to invite the public to come out and enjoy themselves", he said.
Additionally, Isaac made reference to the festivity’s theme saying, “We need everyone to come and blend in and don’t stick off '".
Dr. Drew has indicated that he wants the festival to be a beginning of community togetherness and goodwill for all.
On Friday 25th April, Dr. Drew presented a cheque to Isaac.
