Suspect Wanted in Grand Larceny Surrenders to VIPD

    St. Thomas U.S.V.I. - A suspect wanted in connection with a grand larceny surrendered to police on St. Thomas and was arrested and charged with the offense.
     
    Roberto Camacho, 36, whose address is listed as Bovoni housing community turned himself in to police on Friday February 20.  He was being sought by police in connection with a grand larceny that occurred on January 3, in the Sapphire Village area. Camacho turned himself into police and was arrested at 8:47 a.m. on Friday, February 20.
     
    Camacho's photo and information were not previously released to the public or posted on the VIPD website Most Wanted section, however Investigation Bureau detectives launched an extensive search for the suspect utilizing other investigative methods.
     
    Camacho was held on a $35,000 bail and remanded to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections.
