BASSETERRE, ST. Kitts - THREE footballers from the Federation are celebrating a successful season with Directv W Connection that ended on Friday (May 23), as the club held on to its Digicel Pro Bowl title in Trinidad and Tobago.
Devaughn Elliott, Julani Archibald and Gerrad Williams of St. Kitts and Nevis were a part of the team that also won the Digicel Pro League, FA Trophy, and Toyota Classic this season.
According to the Trinidadexpress, the 2013-2014 local professional football season ended as it began, with Directv W Connection adding a piece of silverware to their bulging cabinet of trophies.
This was Archibald’s and Elliott’s first season with W Connection while Williams has been a member of that club for more than three years.
All three are members of the St. Kitts-Nevis National Football team
The media outlet also reported the “Savonetta Boys” pocketed an extra TT$100 000 and held on to their Digicel Pro Bowl title, beating Police 3-nil in the season-ending Digicel Pro Bowl Tournament at the Hasely Crawford Stadium.
