Rooby Man takes Florida by storm

    London, UK. (May. 23, 2014) – It has been a little while since we heard from the award winning, Haitian, Dancehall/ Pop sensation, Rooby Man, who took a brief hiatus in 2013 to revamp his management team and promotional strategy.

     

    Having already made a name for himself throughout the Chicago underground music scene, with hit singles such as “Showtime”, "She bought it for me" and “Punishment”, Rooby Man has opened shows for the like of R. Kelly, Bone Crusher, Do or Die, Bobby V, Trina, and Miguel.

     

    Since then Rooby Man has been edging his way into mainstream media with features in publications such as Rolling Out Magazine, Chicago Defenders newspaper; Interviews on programs such as ABC 7’s - The Greatness In You with Will Horton and VH1’s - The Hungriest Rapper in Chicago. 

     

    Currently Rooby Man is promoting his latest single release - “Take Her Home With Me”. His promotional tour kicked off in Brazil and then rounded up in Florida. In spite of tornado threats his tour was a great success with features at various nightclubs, several broadcast media and a live performance at the Sun Life Stadium to over 20,000 attendees. 

    Only 12 years ago Rooby Man arrived in the USA barely speaking English. Yet with immense determination and a strong work ethic, he is living his dream and hopes that his journey will inspire others to overcome impossible circumstances. “I want people to be inspired when they talk about me”, explained Rooby Man.
