People's Action Movement mourns passing of “Kishu” Chandiramani

By: Public Relations Office of the PAM Secretariat, Press Release

Basseterre, St. Kitts June 9, 2014, (PAM Public Relations)  --  The People’s Action Movement joins the business and indeed the entire national community, in mourning the sad passing of prominent businessman and model citizen Mr Krishan (Kishu) Devidas Chandiramani, MBE.

It was with deep sorrow that the nation learnt of the passing of one of our most admired and remarkable citizens, on Sunday June 8, 2014. Mr Chandiramani pursued his business ventures with a vibrancy and passion which truly sets him apart. For this his memory shall never grow old, but live on in the hearts and minds of our people forever.

“Kishu” as he was affectionately referred to by all in the community, will not only be remembered as a successful businessman, but as one who genuinely loved the people of his adopted country of St. Kitts and Nevis.

Over the last 50 years “Kishu” through his deeds has significantly impacted the lives of ordinary citizens, and changed our social, cultural and economic landscape for the better with contributions to tourism, banking, healthcare, education, religion, sports, as well as his latest endeavour to feed the homeless.

The executive and membership of the People’s Action Movement, extends its deepest condolences to his wife Sheila, and the entire family. We assure you of our continued support and prayers, hoping that the almighty hand of God will continue to provide solace during these times of your bereavement.
