Basseterre, St. Kitts, June 6, 2014 -- Contestant Number Two in the 2014 Miss Cheryl Stevens Beauty Pageant is Miss Tarissa Thomas.
Twenty-four (24) year old, Tarissa Thomas, who hails from the vibrant village of Newton Ground, knows how to soar beyond limitations with an unshakable faith!
Tarissa, who attended the Sandy Point High School, is blessed with two sons - Daniel Devaunte Lake and K'shorn Tariq Harvey. She daily makes the choice to be a mother of excellence to her sons. She describes them as her “number one priority!”
At the tender age of ten (10), Tarissa began singing. Her inherent passion and dedication to music was always noticed and nurtured as she grew up in a household of performers and talented individuals. Today with a hauntingly sweet voice and exuberant stage presence, Tarissa still sings. She is a member of Light Out Band.
Tarissa Thomas can be described by three words: Strong, Vibrant and Confident!
Like the eagle, Tarissa is determined to continue soaring for higher heights as a mother and singer!
The 2014 Miss Cheryl Stevens Beauty Pageant will be held on June 14, 2014 at 8: 00 p.m. at Carnival City.
