BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – JASON ROGERS, one of the Federation’s top sprinters, continues his good form as he sealed victory yesterday (Jun. 14) in the 100m at the Aileen Meagher Meet in Canada.

Under a bitterly-cold condition, Rogers got off to a fast start in a very close race to win in a time of 10.25 seconds with Barbadian Ramon GIttens in second spot with a time of 10.29 seconds, while Canada’s Andre De Greasse was third in 10.32 seconds.

Last weekend, Rogers placed third in the Netherlands behind Trinidad and Tobago’s Richard Thompson and Britain’s Chijindu Ujah.

Rogers and other top athletes from St. Kitts and Nevis are expected to compete at next weekend’s National Invitational and Club Championships.
