Busta Soft Drink to sponsor Caribbean Premier League 2014

By: CPL, Press Release

Deal inked for Busta to be the official soft drink of the Caribbean’s biggest cricket event.

June 17th, 2014  --  At the signing ceremony on the 12th June 2014 in Jamaica, the Caribbean Premier League organisers welcomed the Busta brand of Soft Drinks as an official sponsor of the tournament for the second year running.

From the inception of the popular cricket competition, Busta has worked closely with the organisers of the CPL to make the event an overwhelming success. This year the expectations of the fans are even higher as the game’s biggest hitters return to prove themselves in the ultimate Caribbean cricket competition.

Attendees will be able to get their favourite Busta flavours at all the tournament venues throughout the Caribbean. Busta will also be helping the fans to support their team with activities and promotions leading up to the CPL and will have fun activities for the fans in the stands as well.

Fans of the Twenty20 cricket format are in for a treat with the high-energy style of play the format encourages and the trademark colourful Caribbean enthusiasm displayed at the matches. Busta is ideally suited to be a part of the vibrant celebration of the CPL 2014, with the beverage’s popular slogan encouraging consumers to ‘Live in Full Colour’.

Busta is a distinctly Caribbean soft drink with a widening global presence and is influenced by the tastes and colours of the Caribbean. The brand has a long history of supporting sports and athletics in the West Indies and has been a part of the legacy of the game of cricket at every level from local community tournaments, and the regional 4-day cricket competitions like the Busta Cup, to the highest international levels of the game.

The Caribbean Premier League 2014 is being held at venues in Grenada, Guyana, Antigua, Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, Jamaica, St Lucia and St Kitts. The tournament starts on the 11th July 2014 with the finals scheduled to be played on the 16th August 2014.
