Biography Yarayni P.A. Morton - Miss Caribbean Cuture Queen Pageant

    BASSETERRE, St Kitts, Tuesday 17th 2014 - Born on August 10th 1990, under the fiery sign of the Leo, twenty three year old Yarayni Morton has always been determined to be inspiring and to do great things. She makes a conscientious effort to live up to her personal favourite quote; “Nothing of great value is ever achieved without great sacrifice”

     

    She began her schooling at Slack’s Pre-School which served as the foundation of her academic prowess. She attended the Dr. William Connor Primary School and then went on to the Basseterre High School, where she excelled passing 10 subjects with 7 distinctions.
     
    She furthered her studies first at the CFBC where she received an Associate’s degree in Business and was a part of the CFBC Debating Society. She then went on to the University of the Virgin Islands, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Baccalaureate degree in Business with concentrations is Marketing and Finance and was also a member of the UVI’s French Club and Dance Team.

    Yarayni has a passion for arts and languages and is always eager to travel and be exposed to new cultures and experiences. She participated in several competitions that facilitated her personal growth and boosted her confidence. In 2008, she was the Kittitian Youth Ambassador at the Beijing Olympics, as well as the country’s representative in the Caribbean Tourism conference held in Bahamas in 2005.

    Most of her time is consumed by her work as a Commercial Officer at COURTS but in her moments of leisure she enjoys playing the piano and pan, dancing and reading. 

    Yarayni, being a strong promoter of Tolerance believes that every individual should be entitled to the freedom of choice and the tolerance of that fundamental right, is the foundation of democracy and human rights.
