Basseterre, St. Kitts -- On Saturday June 7, the St. Kitts Nevis Association of Persons with Disabilities (SKNAPD) held its Annual General Meeting at the McKnight Community Centre..
A new Executive was elected to govern the annual affair of the association for the next two years.
The guest speaker for the event was Mr. Terry Morris who gave an inspiring and motivating presentation that left the membership energized and promising to do more to improve the lives of the differently abled in our society.
There were well over 20 members in attendance and punctual.
Elected are:
President: Mr. Anthony Mills
Vice President: Mr. Joseph Bergan
Secretary: Mrs. Mary Nurse Clarke
Assistant Secretary: Ms. Travia Douglas
Treasurer: Ms. Velma Hanley
Assistant Treasurer: Mr. Shawn Caines
Committee Member: Mrs. Sharon Dasent
Committee Member: Ms. Patricia Bass
Public Relations Officer: Mr. Selwyn B. Liburd (Rusty)
