Press Release (CUOPM)

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, JUNE 18TH 2014 (CUOPM) – First it was The Beach House, them The Pavilion, now its SALTPlage.

St. Kitts’ Christophe Harbour has welcomed the addition of a new standout waterside venue; SALT Plage.

The exceptional St. Kitts development is being crafted from the ground up by an experienced superyacht owner, set on creating a marina which serves superyachts every advantage.

The new beach bar in Whitehouse Bay has opened and offers barefoot luxury to owners or guests, who have so far been impressed with innovative cocktails and a contagious seaside living atmosphere shrouded with classic Caribbean sunsets.

Welcoming visitors arriving by sea or land, the bar boasts a pier stretching 82 feet into the bay and offers 1,450 square feet to dock tenders.

Though the amenity itself is modern, its roots are historic, with the name a firm nod to the thriving salt export business which occupied the site in the 1940’s. Berths are freehold, not leasehold, and come with the opportunity to gain citizenship in a nation with no personal tax and with no residency requirement for citizenship. The first set of berths is due to be completed at the end of this year.

Open cruising grounds, superyacht-friendly legislation and an inclusive, welcoming culture round out this new yachting space completing the triangle of cruising destinations between Antigua and St. Maarten
