BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - POLICE on Nevis are currently investigating a robbery that took place earlier today (June 23) at the Bank of Nova Scotia.
Much information concerning the incident is not available to this publication at this stage; however, reports suggest that five masked, gun-toting individuals entered the bank and robbed the institution before making good their escape.
Sources on Nevis confirmed that the incident did occur but additional information was not available at the time.
SKNVibes spoke with the Public Relations Officer of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, Inspector Lyndon David, who also confirmed that the incident took place and said: “As more details become available it will be made available to the media.”
He further indicated that “once the information is not of evidentiary value it would be shared with the public...We will disseminate what we want to be disseminated to the public”.
