BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – FOR the third time during her tenure at Kajola-Kristada Ltd., Elaine Matthew-Nisbett has been named that company's Employee of the Month, this time for May 2014.
The Mini Initial Department employee has been employed at the establishment since May 1999.
Matthew-Nisbett expressed her gratitude to once again have her photo added to the company’s Wall of Fame.
She stated that she has always been working towards capturing the award and each time winning only pushes her to work harder.
She said it is important that persons go to work every day, be dedicated and concentrate on what they have to do.
“Kajola is a great place to work! We are like a family and we have lots of fun. We are working hard and we are dedicated to the job,” she said.
Matthew-Nisbett thanked her supervisor and the Kajola family for their love and support and encouraged her fellow workers to continue striving.
Beaulah Belle, Matthew’s Supervisor, said that she is a very hard working, dedicated and conscientious employee.
“She is here every day, follows the criteria and goes above and beyond the call of duty. You can call on her at any time.”
With the aim of being instrumental in making sure that the contributions of its employees are recognised and duly awarded, Kajola Kristada Ltd., has been executing the Employee of the Month Award for in excess of six years.
Among the criteria for the Employee of the Month are knowledge of the job, attire, versatility, punctuality, attendance, quality and team building.
Kajola-Kristada Ltd. is owned by the Mezzalingua family in Syracuse, New York and first opened its doors on May 5, 1999. The main product manufactured by the company is CATV Traps, which are small cylindrical electronic devices that are fitted into Cable TV wires to allow Cable TV subscribers to see certain channels or block those to which the customer does not subscribe.
