Sir Kennedy, Condor and Williams cut ribbon to Team UNITY’s home

By: Team UNITY, Press Release (TUCOM)

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, July 3rd    2014 (TUCOM)   --  Three (3) outstanding citizens had the historic honour and privilege to be part of history in the making. A history which they, by their participation, are also shaping. Our country’s first Prime Minister and lone surviving Statesman and former head of government, Dr. the Right Hon Sir Kennedy Alphonse Simmonds (PAM) accompanied by Eugenie Byron Condor (PLP) and Hazel Brandy Williams (CCM) have been inducted in Unity’s hall of fame as the three who opened Unity’s Campaign Headquarters, dubbed the “People’s Command Centre/Unity’s Home” on Thursday 25th June, 2014.

The three (3) Party stalwarts came together reflecting the ‘togetherness” of Team Unity, the alliance of 3 Parties that have put aside party political differences to introduce a new dispensation in the body politics. A dispensation of fairness, integrity, honesty and accountability in governance and government; and a genuinely harmonious relationship between the Federal Government and the Nevis Island Administration.

Eugene Condor is the wife of the Hon Sam Condor, Deputy Leader of the People’s Labour Party (PLP). She was the first female to be appointed Senator in the National Assembly. The Honourable Hazel Brandy Williams is the first female to be appointed Senator on the CCM benches. She presently serves as a Junior Minister in the Nevis Island Administration. All three stalwarts have made history. They have now teamed up to ensure a historic victory for Team Unity.
