CPL committee calls for volunteers

By: SKNIS, Press Release

Basseterre, St. Kitts, July 10, 2014 (SKNIS)  --  The local organizing committee for the Limacol Caribbean Premier League (CPL) T20 has issued a call for interested individuals to volunteer for what is described as the biggest party in sport.

During the period August 07 to 16, St. Kitts and Nevis will host semifinal and final matches as well as an all-star charity match and a music concert headlined by hip-hop artiste Rick Ross.

Assistant Venue Manager Keisha Archibald said that the Federation has an excellent reputation in successfully hosting major sporting events including the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2007 and the CARIFTA Games in 2008. She expressed that the CPL was another opportunity to showcase the hosting capabilities and allows ordinary individuals to be a part of something exciting and meaningful.

Interested individuals should log on to www.cplt20.kn/volunteer to register or visit the office upstairs the Player’s Pavilion at the Warner Park Cricket stadium. Telephone 466-8370 for more information.
