BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER of St. Kitts and Nevis, the Hon. Sam Condor is celebrating 20 years as a member of the National Assembly.

The Parliamentarian, who represents Constituency Three (West Basseterre), has planned a myriad of activities in commemoration of his significant achievement.

In an exclusive interview with SKNVibes, Condor revealed his intentions to visit every church in his constituency over a five-week period. He said he had attended a service at the St. Johnston’s Methodist Church on Sunday (Mar. 8) and would be present for Trinity’s Anglican Church service this weekend.

The Antioch Baptist Church on Infirmary Road will host a Joint Service of Thanksgiving on March 22 and he will be there.

The West Basseterre Constituency Office, located on the corner of Cayon and Millionaire Streets, will be reopened on Saturday, March 21. There will also be a Health and Wellness Walk from the Trinity Anglican Church to the Patsy Allers Playground in the morning.

This Saturday (Mar. 14), a Health Fair will be held at the West Basseterre Constituency Office, and On Wednesday (Mar. 18), Medical Chief-of-Staff at the Joseph N. France Hospital Dr. Cameron Wilkinson will hold a health talk for the residents.

Condor will hold a meeting for youths of his constituency on Monday, March 23. He will also be present for the monthly Constituency Meeting at the St. Johnston Community Centre two days later (Mar. 25).

Condor said he was “extremely honoured” to have reached such a milestone and noted that it had been a privilege for him to serve the residents of West Basseterre for the past two decades.

“I am especially pleased that this anniversary comes when I hold the Education portfolio. I think there is nothing more important than education, because it is a tool that can change and transform lives.

“I want to thank my constituents for all their support and love. I feel as though there has been much improvement in terms of housing, recreational facilities and socially throughout West Basseterre during my tenure. However, I recognise there is still a lot to be done and I want to reiterate my commitment to further development in West Basseterre,” Condor asserted.
