    U.S.V.I. - On March 12, 2009 at approximately 11:29am 911 received a call from a concerned citizen that a shot was fired in the area of Bred Gade, Garden Street. Shortly after, 911 received a second call that a person had been shot and was in the area of the Tropical Deli. Officers responded and were on the scene within minutes. They found that a black male had been shot at least one time to the right upper thigh and requested that an ambulance travel. The victim, 29 years of age was transported via ambulance to the Schneider Regional Medical Center to be treated for the gunshot wound, verified to be one, to the upper right thigh.

     

    Police Chief Rodney F. Querrard, Sr. is again asking for any witness to this shooting to call the Police with whatever information they may have that could lead to the identification of the suspects involved. The victim told Police that he did not know who the suspects involved were other than they were two black males.
