BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, SEPTEMBER 23RD 2014 (CUOPM) – Friday’s visit of the 3,325-passenger Disney Magic will be marked by a plaque exchange ceremony.
Mr. Donald Cable, Manager, Port Services at Delisle Walwyn & Co., said the short ceremony will see exchange of plaques by the St. Kitts Tourism Authority, the St. Christopher Air and Sea Ports Authority (SCASPA), Delisle Walwyn & Co and the ship’s representative.
Several guests representing on-shore stakeholders are expected to attend the ceremony, tour the ship and hosted to lunch.
The Disney Magic made its inaugural call last week Friday 19th September. Two more calls are scheduled on October 3rd and 17th.
The 84,000-ton Disney Magic is one of the most admired and recognizable ocean liners in the world making hundreds of trips to dozens of exotic international ports every year.
The Disney Magic boasts 11 expansive decks, a total length of 984 feet and a maximum width of 106 feet.
