Conaree is the next venue for Prime Minister’s Town Hall Meeting

BASSETERE, ST. KITTS, MARCH 13TH 2009 (CUOPM) – The next Prime Ministerial Town Hall meeting will take place in Conaree.
St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas will host the fourth in the current series of meetings at the Conaree Community Center on Tuesday 24th march at 7:30 P.M.
Residents of Constituency # 8 which includes Conaree, St. Peter’s, Stapleton, Keys, Kittsodarts, Spooner’s and Cayon as well as persons living in the other areas of St. Kitts and Nevis are invited to attend.
Prime Minister Douglas along with Minister of Agriculture, Housing, Fisheries and Cooperatives and Parliamentary Representative, Hon. Cedric Liburd, will discuss issues pertaining to the constituency and nationally, use the opportunity to hear comments and suggestions and field questions from persons in the audience.
Town Hall Meetings have been held in St. Paul’s, Old Road and Mc Knight.
Prime Minister Douglas' St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Government introduced Town Hall meetings as one of several avenues for soliciting the views and opinions of national in the decision making process and shaping of policies.
