BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – POLICE on Nevis are investigating one of their own who is accused of being found in possession of a quantity of a controlled substance.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Stafford Liburd has confirmed that Constable Kevern Adams – who works in Nevis but who is from Taylor’s, was on October 5, arrested and charged with possession of cannabis.
SKNVibes understands that as per the usual practice, Constable Adams could be tried criminally and still taken before a tribunal.
He also faces the possibility of being suspended from the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force until the matter is disposed of.
Adams became a member of the Police Force earlier this year during the last Passing Out Ceremony.
