BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – TWO neighbours were arrested and charged with possession of cannabis and possession of cannabis with intent to supply following a couple of search operations executed by police officers attached to the Dieppe Bay Police Station.
A communique issued by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) today (Oct. 9) indicates that Marvin Boddie and Earlston Warner of Dieppe Bay were both charged with one count each of the aforementioned offences.
The release explained that on Tuesday (Oct. 7), “officers of the Dieppe Bay Police Station on their routine patrol stopped and searched…Boddie…in his motor vehicle and found a large quantity of marijuana inside of the vehicle…”
It further explained that Boddie was taken into police custody and they also confiscated the vehicle and its contents.
SKNVibes understands that the search took place at Harris’ and while he was being transported to the Dieppe Bay Police Station, Boddie escaped lawful custody somewhere in the Lynche’s Village area.
Police officers reportedly went to his home and conducted a search of the premises and a quantity of drugs was reportedly found there.
The publication understands that the quantity of drugs was confiscated by the police and Warner – who was on the property during the time of the search – was also taken into custody and charged.
Boddie subsequently surrendered to the police and he received an additional charge of escaping lawful custody.
