Liburd expresses sympathy to families who lost loved ones over the weekend

    BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, OCTOBER 20TH 2014 (CUOPM) – St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party Parliamentarian, the Hon. Marcella Liburd has expressed sympathy at the sudden passing of Leon “Cheesy” Liburd.

     

    In a Facebook posting Saturday, Miss. Liburd, the Minister of Health, Community and Social Development and Gender Affairs expressed sadness to his wife, Cathy Liburd, his mother, Iris Williams, his father Ian “Patches” Liburd, and his daughter Lesana Liburd. 

    “I pray that god will give you the strength to stay strong in this your difficult moment,” said Ms. Liburd, who also expressed sympathies to the family of Mr. Charles Thompson who lost his life on Friday in an incident.

    “I pray for your family in these trying times as well. I want to pray for a speedy recovery for those who were injured as well. I pray that you have a full recovery. Life is short , Let us enjoy the gift that it is,” she said.
