BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS: The participants of the CFBC/Jenkins Ltd Leadership
Development Course 2013-2014 held a brief handing over ceremony on Wednesday October 22nd, 2014 at Ade’s Place. At this ceremony, Dr. Robertine Chaderton, Founding Member, and Ms. Rosemary Munroe, Director, were presented with office equipment to enhance the facility’s administrative capabilities.
One requirement of the CFBC/Jenkins Ltd Leadership Development Course, facilitated by R. A. Peter Jenkins, was to execute a successful business project. Accordingly, a Charity Gala was planned and hosted on May 1st, 2014 at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort in aid of Ade’s Place.
This presentation formed part of the group’s commitment to support the advancement of this nonprofit organization that provides training for intellectually challenged adults Mr. Keith Evelyn, class participant, made the symbolic handing over to both the Director, Ms. Munroe and Founding member, Dr. Chaderton. He expressed his satisfaction with the class being able to achieve its goal to assist Ade’s Place and pledged the commitment of 2013-2014 Class to support the facility in any way possible. He was also keen to highlight the support of the Sponsors of the Gala, CFBC, Jenkins Ltd and members of the 2013-2014 class.
Acknowledgement was also given S L Horsford, Forum Deco and Mervyn Saddler for recent renovations
done to the office.
Dr. Chaderton accepted on the behalf of the Board of Ade’s Place and expressed her pleasure in the efforts of the class to support the vision of Ade’s Place.
Also present at the handover were Ade’s Place Trainees, Staff and Representatives from the 2013-2014 Class.
The CFBC/Jenkins Ltd Leadership Development Course is a comprehensive training program for beginner managers and persons aspiring to leadership position. The 2014-2015 Cohort begins on Monday October 27th, 2014.
