By: Staff Reporter, SKNVibes.com

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - A Buckley’s man escaped injury yesterday (Nov. 5) when the vehicle he was operating plunged into the sea at the Sea Port.

Information reaching this publication suggests that the incident occurred sometime after 1:00 p.m. and involved a motor pickup PA924 said to be owned by Sun Island Clothing and was being driven by Kevroy Ingram of Buckley’s.

SKNVibes understands that Ingram has some boxes in the bed of the pickup which were to have been offloaded onto a vessel at the Sea Port. When he got there and was approaching a ramp to offload the items.

The engine of the vehicle reportedly shut off and he made an attempt to restart it at which point he realised it was rolling down the slope of the ramp.

Ingram reportedly was able to exit the vehicle before it plummeted into the sea.

The Traffic Department of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force was called into to provide assistance with the investigations.
