Police Force gets Mobile Command Unit

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, November 28th 2014 (CUOPM) – A newly acquired Mobile Command Unit by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force will be deployed soon.

     

    Commissioner of Police, Dr. C.G. Walwyn said the acquisition of the Mobile Unit is an initiative which began by his predecessor, Mr. Austin Williams.

    He told the Communications Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister (CUOPM) that the Police Mobile Command Center will be deployed at major public events.

    The Police Mobile Unit is a gift from the European Union and the relevant training has taken place for the appropriate staff.
