Man stabbed at Ferry Terminal

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - INVESTIGATIONS are being made into a wounding incident that left a young man, who reportedly resides in Nevis, hospitalised.

     

    Deputy Commissioner of Police Stafford Liburd confirmed to SKNVibes that either late yesterday afternoon or early in the evening (Dec. 22), a young man who resides at Rawlins Village, Nevis was “injured with a sharp instrument” at the Ferry Terminal.

    He was transported to the Joseph N. France General Hospital for treatment. 

    In a subsequent press release, police revealed that the stabbing victim is Dwayne Freeman of Gingerland, Nevis and that inquiries are being made into the incident.

    SKNVibes however understands that the incident occurred sometime after the victim came from Nevis via one of the ferries.

    Persons having information about the incident are asked to contact the nearest police station or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477.
