January 14th, 2015 -- The BVI Ports Authority is reminding boaters to apply for the use of any of the Authority’s facilities for berthage, and to pay harbour charges.

Boaters must fill out a berthage application that indicates the required date and time for usage of a dock. Also, harbour charges will be applied to all vessels berthing at the BVIPA facilities or within territorial waters. Harbour charges, in accordance with the BVIPA Regulations (1995), must be paid irrespective of any vessel other than a commercial ferry that berths for approved scheduled ferry services at the BVIPA’s facilities.

Berthage applications and a copy of the BVIPA Regulations (1995) can be found online at www.bviports.org. For more information, contact the BVI Ports Authority via telephone 494-3435.
