Delays In Service Expected At Department Of Motor Vehicles

Wednesday, January 14, 2015 - The Department of Motor Vehicles is informing their customers that they are to expect delays in service at both DMV branches.

The delays are due to a new licensing system that was introduced earlier this month which requires the transferring of data from one system to another.  This new system will now synchronise the insurance expiration date with the vehicle license expiration date.  The change is expected to reduce the large numbers of customers renewing their vehicle license at the end of every month.

The Department apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks the public for their continued patience as the new system takes effect.  For more information, contact the Department at 468-4080.
