    BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, BASSETERRE, MARCH 25TH 2009 (CUOPM) – Bills dealing with tourism and financial services will go before the St. Kitts and Nevis National Assembly on Thursday March 26th.
     
    Clerk of the lawmaking body, Mr. Jose Lloyd said Thursday’s meeting will be presided over by Deputy Speaker, the Hon. Patrice Nisbett.

     

    Minister of Finance, Dr. the Hon. Timothy Harris will introduce and have read a first time, the Insurance Bill 2009; The Saint Christopher and Nevis (Mutual Exchange of Information on Taxation matters) Bill, 2009; and the Captive Insurance Companies (Amendment) Bill, 2009.
     
    Minister of State in the Ministry of Tourism, Sen. the Hon. Richard Skerritt will have read a first time of The Saint  Christopher Tourism Authority (Prescribed Areas) Bill, 2009.
     
    The four bills will be given all three readings and are expected to be passed.
