BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS (Feb. 2, 2015) – Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina, BVI has appointed Colin Bramble as the new consultant of the 55-slip Scrub Island Marina. A nearly 20-year resident of the BVI and Royal Yachting Association senior instructor, Bramble will manage the docks, reservations and space for all vessels coming in and out of Scrub Island Marina, storage areas and dock staff.
Prior to coming to Scrub Island Resort, Bramble and his wife co-founded and managed the BVI Watersports Centre Ltd. which closed in 2012, and continue to collaborate with the Special Olympics BVI. Bramble began his career in hotel management and was at one point assistant manager of an exclusive Hotel and Country Club under Suisse ownership.
Since his arrival to the BVI in 1997, he has also coordinated major aspects of three British Royal Family visits to the Territory – from liaising with local government and international security to welcoming the VIPs upon their arrival.
