By: Team Unity Secretariat, Press Release

Basseterre, St. Kitts, Fri., February 6, 2015: The Court of Appeals discharged the injunction filed by team Unity saying “the courts ruled on narrow and highly technical grounds calling the decision “political immorality” and encouraging counsel for Unity to take up the case with the Privy Council.

A Unity Team representative cited their decision to uphold the decision of the court while stating their right to pursue the rule of law and the encapsulation of justice.

“Our goal is to protect the principles of justice while respecting the decisions of the law.” The right to pursue a decision from the Privy Council represents the search for justice and the final answer in the pursuit of justice. Our constitution and the Rule of Law is at stake,” he said.

Vernon Connor, Constituency #6 Candidate began the rally by sounding the Rally Cry and Unity Team stance, “We Will Win No Matter What!” Candidate after candidate, reiterated the mantra, charging voters to come out and vote saying “people win elections, boundaries don’t win elections; when you go to the polls, vote for your party wherever you go to vote!”
