“I will not be discouraged!” says Uncle Sam
Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 13th, 2015 - It was just a week ago that the Youth of Unity in Constituency #3 spoke out against cowardly acts of vandalism within their communities. The acts have not taken the Honourable Sam Condor or the youth in his constituency off course, but rather have kept them focused on their civic duty and responsibility to the people.
Uncle Sam remains steadfast in his mission as the representative for West Basseterre to continue serving his people.
This morning, Friday 13th February, 2015, just one day before we recognize Valentine’s Day, a day when we express our love for people around us, someone has displayed acts that are not synonymous with love for self or love for others. During their usual visits to the constituency office in St. Johnston Village, the Honourable Sam Condor and members of his executive team were met by fecal matter that was smeared over the exterior of the mobile station.
“I am totally disgusted at the levels that some persons were willing to go during this election campaign. Just last week persons tried to downplay the love affair that I have with my people by destroying some billboards in Constituency #3, and now someone has done this gross and& disgusting act,” said a very displeased Sam Condor. “I will not be discouraged and will continue to do what I set out to do. I will continue to work hard to ensure that my constituents will enjoy a better life come February 17th. My executive team and I will remain focused, we will remain steadfast, and we will continue our work so that the people of West Basseterre will enjoy sweet victory in UNITY.”
Since the story broke earlier today about this act, persons have been expressing their displeasure with the act on the Facebook page for the Honourable Sam Condor.
“Such behavior like this, what does it benefit you???? The time this individual(s) took to plan such degrading act was the time they could have done something constructive with their life,” says one supporter of Uncle Sam. Another supporter encouraged Sam and TEAM UNITY with these words: “People so ignorant and childish. It’s so upsetting to see people going to that extent to try and bring down Team Unity!!!!!! Have no fear uncle Sam because victory for us is very near!!!!!!”
The Honourable Sam Condor will remain steadfast and focused in his commitment to the people of West Basseterre.
These cowardly acts shall never be condoned and they will not deter him from doing what he has set out to do. The people of Constituency #3 can rest assured knowing that the Honourable Sam Condor, the man who they have elected time after time, will ensure that their voices are heard and their needs met through a TEAM UNITY Government.
