March 2nd, 2015 -- The Electoral Observation Mission of the Organization of American States (EOM/OAS) to the elections for the Central American Parliament (Parlacen), the Legislative Assembly and Municipal Councils in El Salvador today deployed 60 experts and observers in the 14 departments of the country to observe the voting, the vote counting, and the transmission of results.
The Chief of Mission, the former Foreign Minister of Bolivia Gustavo Fernández, who was designated for the position by the Secretary General of the OAS, José Miguel Insulza, observed the process in several locations in San Salvador and Santa Ana during a tour of voting centers this morning.
