BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – TWO masked, armed men early Saturday morning (Apr. 25) invaded a Frigate Bay family’s home and robbed them of an undisclosed sum of money.
Information reaching SKNVibes, which was confirmed by Police Press and Public Relations Officer Inspector Lyndon David, states that the incident occurred shortly after 1:00 a.m.
David said that in addition to the undisclosed sum of cash, the armed intruders had also stolen the family’s car.
This publication was reliably informed that after entering the lower Half Moon Heights apartment that the family rents, one of the intruders pistol-whipped the male family member twice in the face while he was holding his two-year-old daughter.
It was not revealed to this media house how the perpetrators gained entry to the apartment, but the police are seeking the public’s assistance in bringing them to justice.
“Anyone who has any information pertaining to this incident is asked to call the Violent Crime Unit at 467-1886, 467-1887, 662-9336, the nearest police station, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477(TIPS). Remember, you do not have to provide your personal information and you may be eligible to receive a reward,” David said.
