BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THE Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force has confirmed that it is making investigations into a “break-in” that took place on Sunday morning (May 10) in the Half Moon, Frigate Bay area.
Information reaching this publication suggests that at about 4:00 a.m., a female was held at knife-point by two individuals and tied up after they had entered her home.
Public Relations Officer for the Police Force Inspector Lyndon David told SKNVibes investigations are being made but he could not confirm the circumstances.
SKNVibes is unsure about whether the victim was injured or not and whether or not items were stolen during the incident.
Inspector David however said that the police would appreciate the public’s assistance in forwarding any relevant information about this incident.
“What I can say is we are investigating a break-in at a home in the Half Moon area…and we are appealing to members of the public who may have information to provide to us by calling the Frigate Bay Outpost at 465-6899, the nearest police station or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477.”
About three weeks ago a robbery took place in the same area where a resident was pistol-whipped by two men while he was carrying his toddler, and a sum of money as well as the family’s vehicle were stolen.
The vehicle was however recovered shortly after but investigations into this incident are ongoing.
