BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – JUST hours after Jamaican Reggae artiste Bounty Killa’s energetic, crowd-pleasing performance at the 19th annual St. Kitts Music Festival, his brother, Mark Price, was arrested at the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport for alleged theft of a cellular phone.

SKNVibes received information of the alleged theft earlier this morning (Jun. 27), which was confirmed by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force’s Press and Public Relations Officer Inspector Lyndon David.

“We are looking into…where Mark Price of Jamaica is being detained in police custody with reference to a report that is being investigated at this time…”

David confirmed that Price is being detained in relation to a report of alleged cell phone theft that took place at the Airport.

He said the police are not prepared to report anything further until other investigations are made. However, depending on the outcome, a specific action would be taken against Price.

“Depending on the circumstances, the appropriate action will be taken, whether he will be discharged or whether he will be further detained and charge. But we will be investigating the matter and then we will be guided according to the results.”

Bounty Killer was one of the headline acts for the second night (Jun. 26) of 19th annual St. Kitts Music Festival.
