June 30th, 2015 -- The Rotary club of St. Kitts in collaboration with Dr. Dwayne Thwaites and Island Medical Specialists will be hosting its second free annual Prostate Screening Drive on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at The Masonic Lodge Building, Taylors Range, Basseterre. Screening will begin at 7:00 am.
This year, Dr. Dwayne Thwaites and Dr. Brian Cohen will be joined by Dr. Karmal Mars, a certified Urologist out of Jamaica.
We are appealing the male populace between the ages of 40 – 70 years of age to take advantage of this opportunity to get screened for Prostate Cancer.
Under our motto “EARLY DETECTION SAVES LIVES”, our goal is to ensure that the male populace the Federation is provided with adequate information and opportunities to be able to detect abnormalities in their prostate as early as possible, thus improving their chances of being treated effectively.
