Next PM Town Hall Meeting in Sandy Point

    BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, APRIL 15TH 2009 (CUOPM) – The next Town Hall Meeting hosted by Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas will take place in Sandy Point next week.
     
    It will be held at the Sandy Point High School Auditorium on Tuesday 21st April at 7:30 P.M.
     
    Special Guest will be District Medical Officer, Dr. Norgen Wilson.
     
    The Sandy Point Town Hall Meeting will be the Sixth in a series hosted by Prime Minister Douglas, who will use the opportunity to update the gathering on national issues as well as matters related specifically to sandy Point.
     
    During sessions Prime Minister Douglas will respond to questions and listen to the concerns and suggestions of the residents.
     
    Persons living in Sandy Point, Fig Tree and La Valle are invited to attend.
     
    Prime Ministerial Town Hall Meetings have been held in St. Paul’s, Old Road, Central Basseterre, Conaree and East Basseterre.

     

    The St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Government introduced Town Hall meetings several years ago as one of the avenues of getting the views and opinions of nationals in the decision making process and the shaping of policy.
