Culturama 41 Kaiso Semi-Finals results

    CHARLESTOWN, Nevis – July 25, 2015 – Seven finalists selected to compete in the TDC Senior Kaiso Contest on Saturday August 1st, 2015.

    Seven kaisonians have been chosen to advance to the final stage of the TDC Senior Kaiso Contest, which will be held on Saturday August 1st at the Cultural Complex beginning at 8:30 pm.
     
    They are:
     
    1. Astro          483 points
     
    2. Hollywood          482 points
     
    3. Nutsy                474 points
     
    4. Baker         459.5 points
     
    5. Lady Panther 443 points
     
    6. Irwin         436 points
     
    7. Enforcer        403.5 points

    Included in the line up are two former Kings Astro and Hollywood and regular finalists Baker and Nutsy. Lady Panther’s is a former Culturama Miss Teen Nevis winner and is this year competing in the Culturama Kaiso Contest for the first time. Irwin is returning to the Culturama Kaiso Finals after an absence of over 30 years and the Enforcer will be competing in the TDC Senior Kaiso Finals for the second time this year. 

    The TDC Senior Kaiso Semi-finals was held at the Cultural Complex on Friday July 24th and saw ten kaisonians each competing for a place in the finals. The other three kaisonians were Polo, Adowa and Daddy Nature.

    The reigning Culturama Kaiso King is Dis and Dat. He has won ten Culturama Kaiso titles in the past and will this year try to create history by becoming the first Culturama Kaiso Monarch to win back-to-back Culturama Senior Kaiso crowns.

    The TDC Senior Kaiso Finals will take place on Saturday August 1st at the Cultural Complex beginning at 8:30 pm. Admission for the event is $40.00 and the musical accompaniment will be provided by the Grand Masters Band.
