Two Jamaicans assisting police with laptop theft investigation

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – TWO visiting male nationals of Jamaica are currently in custody assisting police with investigations into the theft of a laptop.

     

    This publication understands that the individuals had recently arrived in the Federation as part of the entourage of female singers who performed at a show last evening (Aug. 28).
     
    Information reaching this publication indicates that it is alleged that a laptop was stolen from within the Marriott Resort sometime late yesterday and, as was confirmed by Acting Commissioner of Police Stafford Liburd, “two Jamaicans are assisting the police with inquiries concerning the larceny of a laptop”.

    They were reportedly taken into custody sometime last evening.

    Liburd also confirmed that the individuals are part of a group which came to St. Kitts for the hosting of a show.
