BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – INFORMATION reaching SKNVibes early this morning (OCT. 26) states that one man is dead and another hospitalised following a shooting incident in Tabernacle.
SKNVibes learnt that the incident occurred sometime after 4:00 p.m. yesterday and it was not reported until hours after, but this information is yet to be confirmed.
It was also learnt that the deceased is one Trevor 'Abdul' Edmeade and the hospitalised man,s name was given as Audain 'Mumpa' Henry.
When contacted shortly before 7:00 this morning, Assistant Commissioner with responsibility for Crime, Ian Queeley confirmed that one man had died and another was taken to the JNF General Hospital but stated that he did not have all the details at that time.
He however promised that the Public Relations Officer would provide details in a press release soonest.
This shooting-death has taken to 24 the total homicides committed in St. Kitts and Nevis for the year.
